Fun on the FourthThe Humboldt Park 4th of July Association has organized a day-long event. The 9 a.m. parade begins at Kinnickinnic and Lincoln avenues and ends at Humboldt Park, 3000 S. Howell Ave., where a half-hour clown show begins at 10:30 a.m. (near the tennis courts) and an old-time 1860s-style baseball game will begin at 11 a.m. (at Keitner Field). Other than the 9:15 p.m. fireworks, the remainder of the day is filled with children's games, an afternoon children's bike-and-buggy parade, live music and contests.
