Re: National Defense Authorization Act of 2011

Dear Senator Feingold:

Welcome back to work from your August recess of six weeks.
Now it is time to consider the National Defense Authorization Act of 2011.

I urge you to actively support the following --
1) The full restoration of the concurrent receipt of military retired pay with out offset by VA disability compensation for some 500,000 military retirees who were retired with less than 50% disability or who were retired under Title 10, US Code, Chapter 61 with less than 20 years service.

2) The full restoration of benefits to some 61,000 military widows whose survivor's benefits payments are off set by VA dependency indemnification payments because their spouse died of service connected causes.

3) No increases in Tricare or Tricare for Life beneficiary payments/co-pays as now being proposed by the Department of Defense. During ones' military career, they were promised "free life time medical care for the veteran and their family" if they served until retirement. That promise was broken by Tricare in 1992.

Please advise me of your intentions.
