On Saturday, May 21st, we had a yard sale at the historic Beulah Brinton House, 2590 S. Superior St., in Bay View. All proceeds went to benefit the Bay View Historical Society and its needs. There was food, jewelry, books, records, boutiques, furniture, small appliances, toys, blankets, cooking utensels, lawn equipment, and many other things available to purchase. The hot dogs went great with the German style sauerkraut and the other condiments. When the rain came, then the sale began to lose customers. There were many volunteers from the Bay View Historical Society to help you and show you the inside of the Beulah Brinton House. One item that was unusual was a three wheel large bicycle that was sold. The variety of goods was excellent and the amount of volunteers was large. A great time was had by all who came to this event.
