John Manke is an active former Bay View resident who is involved in numerous neighborhood organizations, including the Bay View Historical Society, the Humboldt Park Fourth of July Association and the Shore Shore Farmers Market. He believes Bay View has a fine tradition in its past that we do not want to lose in the future.
Complete your Thanksgiving weekend
Complete your Thanksgiving weekend with an afternoon house concert with Folk Musicians. Lil Rev, traveling musician and storyteller, and Larry Penn, singer-songwriter, at the Beulah Brinton House, located at 2590 S. Superior Street in Bay View. This will happen on Sunday, November 27th, at 2:00 PM. Refreshments will be served and a free-will offering for the performance will be taken. This event is free and open to the public.
