On Saturday, the South Shore Farmers Market returns for a new season. It is located in South Shore Park, 2900 S. Shore Drive, in Bay View. Over 40 vendors will be on site. There will be three bakeries, two coffee shops, smoothies, crepes, fresh mushrooms, home made candy, fresh berries, home made preserves, kettle corn, honey, several farmers, some organic some regular and fresh flowers.
There will be an educational program followed by a musical program. Park benches are avaiable, but only in a limited supply. Your dog is welcome to come with you, provided that it is on a leash and you clean up after it. Sometime you might want to bring along a chair to watch the programs in or near the Events tent. While you are shopping, you will have a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. Restrooms are located in the park pavilion. Parking is limited, so come early or park outside of the park. We have always had fairly large crowds in attendance. There in no cost of admission and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Enjoy yourself and see what we are all about. Y'all come and join us at the South Shore Farmers Market on Saturdays. We are open from 8 am to 12 noon.
