After volunteering on July 4th, I for one am very tired. Here is hope that everyone had a wonderful day out there. We held a full day of activities at Humboldt Park with the Humboldt Park 4th of July Association. It was hard work, but great volunteers helped us out. We had some good sponsors who came to our aid to help us keep this great traditiopn alive for another year. A special thank you goes out to Cliff Hale and his park staff for all of the help that they gave us. We could use some more volunteers and members to plan next year's celebration. Put your input into our planning meetings. We will meet the first Wednesday in March, April and May and every Wednesday in June.
I would like to personally thank everyone who came to help us at the park. I would like to thank our volunteers and sponsors for all that they have done to help us keep a great Independence Day celebration active for future generations of families to enjoy. Consider becoming a member or a volunteer and give your input into the planning of next year's celebration. Everyone is important and all input is considered at meetings.
The meetings are held in the Humboldt Park Pavilion at 7 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
