He believes Bay View has a fine tradition in its past that we do not want to lose in the future.
I have heard about attacks on women in the parks after it gets dark. If you are going to be in the park, have somebody else with you. This will reduce the chance of you being attacked. These kind of attackers prefer to attack people who are alone and not visable to other people in the park. If you are alone in the park, then carry a whistle or some other type of warning device. When strange acting people are seen in the park, notify the local authorities. Always be visable, and in plain sight of other people. The parks are there for us to enjoy, not for us to fear. Common sense will guide you as you visit our parks.
