John Manke is an active former Bay View resident who is involved in numerous neighborhood organizations, including the Bay View Historical Society, the Humboldt Park Fourth of July Association and the Shore Shore Farmers Market. He believes Bay View has a fine tradition in its past that we do not want to lose in the future.

Bay View Historical Society announces newest historical landmark

   On Saturday, September 29, 2012, at 2 pm  Bay View Historical Society will dedicate its newest historical landmark. The T.H. Stemper Company will be dedicated as a Bay View Historical Society historical landmark. The company is located at 1125 E. Potter Ave. in Bay View.  After this free event,. refreshments will be served at the Beulah Brinton Community Center, located at 2555 S. Bay St. (across the street from Stemper's.)

   This is a free event and everyone is welcome to attend.
