We just had a nice visit with my sister, Joanne Uhl, her husband Ed Uhl, and their son Mike Uhl. It was a very relaxing get together. She came into town for her 60th high school reunion. On Sunday, we visited Dave and Christy Manke, my nephew and his wife and family in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. We sat down to a pot luck dinner and had some wonderful conversation. This was a great occasion. Mike and Ed have not been in Milwaukee for a while. Ed used to work for Delco Corporation and moved to Goleta, California in 1972. Mike lives in Portand, Oregon. Time was short, but we did spend some quality time together. For Ed it was strange seeing the the Delco buildings were no longer there. He was able to see many of the changes that have occured in the Milwaukee area. He got to see the apartment building that they lived when they first moved to Milwaukee. He saw our old neighborhood and the land where our old house once was. We were very happy to see them come here. It is always sad when they have to leave again, but we will miss them. We wish for them to have all of the best in life to follow them. They are wonderful people.
