Ms. Elaine Kneeous

Jennifer is a one in a million stay-at-home mom. (More like one OF a million stay at home moms!) She graduated from a liberal arts college but there is nothing liberal OR artsy about her. She is married to Kevin Fischer of This Just In, and together they have a beautiful young daughter Kyla Audrey. In no particular order she loves dogs, wine, a good bargain, her family, pizza, and entertaining. Follow her blog of all things miscellaneous including but not limited to cooking and baking, entertaining and party planning, being a mommy, and homekeeping.

Her shamrock just wasn't big enough

The apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree.

Kyla LOVES to do art projects, dress for a holiday, and entertain.  Poor thing isn’t even five years old yet, and when she talks to others about their birthdays the first thing out of her mouth is, “What’s your theme?”

She also loves special “homework projects.”  At the K-4 level they’re not all that difficult.  But they sure are fun.  Last week Friday she came home with an assignment that ties in with St. Patrick’s Day.

Each student received a construction paper shamrock.  The instructions were to decorate the paper with whatever the student wanted to use to answer the question:  “Why are we lucky to be a family?”

Wow… for us, it wasn’t tough to start, but it sure was tough to stop.  Kyla and I brainstormed for a bit, and then went to the computer to find family photos and some images that supported our answer.

Truly, we are lucky to be a family.  Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all our friends and family!
