John Manke is an active former Bay View resident who is involved in numerous neighborhood organizations, including the Bay View Historical Society, the Humboldt Park Fourth of July Association and the Shore Shore Farmers Market. He believes Bay View has a fine tradition in its past that we do not want to lose in the future.
The 128th Commemoration of the Bay View Tragedy will happen at 3 pm, Sunday, May 4th at the Historical Marker Site on E. Russell Ave. and S. Superior St. needs some assistance for this event.
1) Volunteers are needed as actors in the re-enactment being staged by the Milwaukee Public Theatre! The volunteers are being asked to attend either or before both rehearsals: Saturday, May 3rd (place and time to be determined) and 1;30 pm at the site on May 4th.

2) Volunteers will be needed at the event for various chores to help staff a table where we will sell a few items, to assist in passing the hat and to be available for other needs that arise. Such volunteers may reply to this e-mail or to email@example.com. They should plan to arrive by 2:30 pm the day of the event.
3) Promote the evnt among your friends, neighbors and acquaintances. You may download and copy the enclosed flyer and distribute it as widely as you wish.
