Ms. Elaine Kneeous

Jennifer is a one in a million stay-at-home mom. (More like one OF a million stay at home moms!) She graduated from a liberal arts college but there is nothing liberal OR artsy about her. She is married to Kevin Fischer of This Just In, and together they have a beautiful young daughter Kyla Audrey. In no particular order she loves dogs, wine, a good bargain, her family, pizza, and entertaining. Follow her blog of all things miscellaneous including but not limited to cooking and baking, entertaining and party planning, being a mommy, and homekeeping.

Well, you KNEW this was coming...

I never discourage an opportunity to pick up an old-fashioned book.  You remember... those things you went to the library to check out?  They have paper pages, a spine, a table of contents and forward/afterward?  If you haven’t picked up a real “live” book in a while I feel sorry for you – you’re missing out on something special.

Do you at least encourage your school-age children to read those archaic things called books?  The kind you don’t scroll through but turn pages?  Well, there just might be a really great reason to pick one up soon.  (Yes, even I will admit there will be electronic versions of them; it’s inevitable.  But I’ll choose to ignore that option on principle.)

Usually a follow-up to a movie comes in the form of another movie.  While there may be other examples of a movie sequel in book form, I honestly can’t think of one.  Leave it to Disney to develop books based on one of their top-grossing movies.  Do you wanna… know Anna & Elsa better?  You’ll finally have your chance.

Thanks Random House.  Not only do I appreciate your character & plot development, I appreciate your encouraging the act of reading.
