At 7 PM, on Wednesday, April 1, 2009, we will a meeting of the Humboldt Park 4th of July Association. The meeting will be located in the park pavilion. All interested people are invited to attend. We will be discussing the planning of the Independence Day celebration this year. There will be planning the celebration on a reduced budget discussed. All of the people in attendance will be able to discuss this year's event. In spite of the recent poor economy, we will attempt to design a full day of activities, providing that we have the stage and electricity. If those two elements are missing, we will have to eliminate most of the afternoon and evening schedule. Let's hope for the best and try to plan these activities anyway. Our hope before we heard the news of our park allowance reduction was to plan a wonderful day of activities for the entire family to safely enjoy Independence Day at Humboldt Park. Please join us as we try to resolve this situation. The meeting is open to all interested people.
