Having fun with my computer

Lately,  I have had a major problem with my computer. If I make a move, it takes about five minutes to proceed. While I am attempting to do something, it will crash. losing everything that I have been working on. While writing a story for this blog site, a computer crash erased everything that I had finished at that point. It is no fun not being able to use the computer correctly. When you can't depend on it working in a timely manner, you lose your interest in being online.  I pray that this problem will be corrected soon. Wish me luck with my computer.

The problem has been taken care of.  Special thank you to Kevin and Mary.

Hot weather is on its way

Now is the time to put on shorts instead of long pants.  It will be getting hot soon.  We seem to go from winter right to summer with very little spring involved.  Softball will be very active now, so join a league if you can. Outdoor basketball and tennis is back. Get some sun and excercise. Take your family to the park and enjoy the play area and lilacs in bloom. Volleyball is a lot of fun. There are horseshoe courts in some of our parks.  This is how to develop your pitching arm for softball. If you like to fish, then go to a small lake and enjoy yourself. Finish preparing your garden so that you can enjoy the fruits of your efforts.

A fairy tale that could come true

Suppose a governor of a state and his political party took control of the state government. They proceeded to eliminate school funding, because educated people might not support their party candidates.  They cut off aid to the poor and disabled people because the money needed for them was meant for tax cuts for the rich and their corporate friends. Medicare and Social Security was unnecessary since they did not benefit the rich people. Schools would still exist, but only for those people who could afford them. Mass transportation was greatly reduced since they felt that the poor could either walk or ride a bike to where ever they were going.  Welfare as we know it was eliminated and labor camps were set up for the poor people to earn their benefits. Health care would be normal for those who had the money to pay for it, but poor people could wait for Helen Waite to take care of them. Special hospitals would be set up for mentaly ill and elderly much like Germany had during WW II. The next thing to do will be to eliminate any other political parties, since their party was the best one for the rich people.

Is it possible that we are close to this situation now in Wisconsin? What can we do about protecting the people and their needs?  Can we recall the politicians that are causing all of this trouble? You are the voter.  You must decide what to do about it.

The first day of Summer

Today is the first day of official summer. Take your family outdoors and enjoy the great weather we are having. Watch out for children running out into the street while playing. Enjoy our maze of highway barrels and barricades. This is part of our summer. Make good use of our parks and playgrounds. This provides cheap entertainment for your family to do. Summerfest is right around the corner and the big fireworks display they have. Take some vacation time to relax with your family. Please support the Bay View community.

Where's the heat?

In one old hamburger ad, the question is raised:   "Where's the Beef?" Now I ask you, "Where is the heat?".  We are offically in summer, but we still need to wear warm coats and sometimes still turn on the heat.  This has been the coldest spring and summer that I can remember. Let's hope that better days are coming.  Please support the Bay View community.

Wonderfull weekend

I just enjoyed a wonderfull weekend.  On Friday, we went to the wedding rehearsal of my daughter, Mary and her future husband Kevin. We had a meal together as a group afterwards. On Saturday, Mary and Kevin had a beautiful marriage ceremony. We had good weather and the ceremony was outdoors. All of my children and their families were there taking part in the wedding preparations. After the wedding photographs, we went to join the wedding reception group. Everything went perfect.  After we ate the meal, there was dancing with some fine music. There was beer, wine, soda, bottled water and mixed drinks available there. Special tiny cupcakes in several styles were served. Candy was available for all to take if wanted. This was a very joyfull occasion for all. Many heartfelt wishes go to the newly married couple. I wish them great success in their future together. May God Bless them now and always.

On Sunday, My son, Kurt, his wife, Olivia, sons, Sam and Zach, and my wife and I attended the baseball game of the Milwaukee  Brewers versus the Minnesota Twins. After the 7th inning, they left to return to White Bear Lake, Minnesota. It was a great pleasure being with them.
