On October 16, 2009, we held Tree Day at Humboldt Park.in Bay View..
We did it again! Another successful Tree Day at Humboldt Park. Thank you so much for your help in making the day a success. We couldn't do it without you and we are so grateful that you take the time to participate. It;s is hard to say what the best part of the day is, the tree planting, the walk through the park, leaf rubbing, button making, the books, and the craft projects and of course your presence and that of the children who come.
We owe a big thank you to County Landscaping and their wonderful tree-planting machines and the guys who make it look easy, as well as the City Forestry people who bring their expertise along on the walk. We are truly grateful to our own Park crew who gets the building set up and ready for us. Together they make for a wonderful and memorable day and all of you make it possible. So thanks again -- we appreciate the help.
