Support Bay View

John Manke is an active former Bay View resident who is involved in numerous neighborhood organizations, including the Bay View Historical Society, the Humboldt Park Fourth of July Association and the Shore Shore Farmers Market. He believes Bay View has a fine tradition in its past that we do not want to lose in the future.

    9:00 - 10:15 AM =  Parade starts at E. Lincoln Ave. and S. Kinnickinnic Ave. It then proceeds down

S. KK Ave. to S. Logan Ave. to E. Idaho St. to Humboldt Park (located at 3000 S. Howell Ave.)

   10:30 - 11:00 AM =  Rainbow Randa: Patriotic Clown Performance

   11:00 - noon =  Games:   Children's, Teens & Adult (front of tennis courts)

   11:00 - 1:00 PM =  1860's Old Time Baseball Game  (Keltner Baseball Field)

   12:15 - 1:00 PM = Donut Eating Contest -- Preregister,  1st 20 only, grouped by 5   6 donuts: 1 minute

most eaten & consumed 6 in shortest time

   12:30 - 1:00 PM = Children's Contest Registration for age groups 2 - 12 years,  Vehicle Decore to meet Theme, Category -- chairpersons:

   2:30 - 5:00 PM =  New 2010 Talent Show at Chalet:  Ages 5 - 10, 11 -14 & 15-19

   3:00 - 7:00 PM =  Live Musical groups at Idaho Street Stage  Features: "Keith Weisling - Blues" and the "Liban Brothers - Jazz"

   7:00 - 7:15 PM =  Posting of the Colors, National Anthem, Thank You and Presentation of the day's awards

   7:15 - 9:15 PM =  Evening Entertainment at Chalet Stage   Features:  "Diamonds and Martinis"; Neil Diamond tribute and more.....

   9:15 - 9:45 PM =  Fireworks - Celebrating Association's 100th Anniversary  with American Flag ground display   (expanded fireworks display sponsored by W.B. Bottle Company)
