Providing positive information about the Bay View area schools.
Drive past Cathedral Square Park these days and you'll notice the landscape has changed considerably. More than 150 evergreens have been staged to transform the corner into "Community Spirit Park" for the six week Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival. A growing tradition for the last seven years, 62 schools participated in this year's festivities. With handmade ornaments designed in the classroom, more than 1,900 students of varying ages descended on Cathedral Square for tree decorating parties sponsored by Madison Medical Affiliates. Each school's tree was dressed with a special message for the for the holidays.
With themes of hope, courage, preservation and kindness," Community Spirit Park " is a touching display of the meaning of the season. Take a stroll through the park and scope out the handiwork. A special thanks to the schools that made it all possible.
