John J. Sulik
John J. Sulik of Cudahy died Feb. 21, 2009, at age 93.
He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Army Reserves, retiring after 20 years with the rank of major. He was a member of the Retired Reserve Officers Association of the U.S., Veterans of Foreign Wars, U.S. American Legion Department of Wisconsin and the Knights of Columbus Council 1709.
He is survived by his daughter, Georgia Lengyel Sulik; stepson, Kenneth G. Stack; grandchildren, Kenneth W. (Pat) Stack and Judy Stewart; special companion, Millie Schmidt; and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Mata (nee Lengyel); and siblings, Peter, Albert, Kathryn Sulik, Ann Kubic and Helen Sulik.
Funeral service was Feb. 27 at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
Schramka-Nero Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
