Sarah Gilmore and Andrew Arntz were married Oct. 11, 2008, at the Mitchell Park Domes, Milwaukee.

Parents of the bride are Carl and Desa Gilmore, South Milwaukee. Parents of the groom are Michael and Peggy Arntz, Waukesha.

The Renaissance-themed wedding was officiated by Judith Kubish. The ceremony was followed by a reception at Mader's Restaurant, Milwaukee.

The bride wore a burgundy Renaissance dress with gold lining and flowing sleeves and a floral head wreath. She carried a floral scepter of white calla lilies and orange gerbera daisies. The groom wore a period tunic in colors complementing the bride's dress, with a hat and ceremonial sword completing his outfit.

Matron of honor was Laura Gaddis, West Allis, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Dani Larson, Mt. Horeb.

Best man was Jeremy Arntz, Waukesha, brother of the groom. Groomsman was Brian Buffum, Waukesha.

The bride, a 1998 graduate of South Milwaukee High School, earned a bachelor's in inter-arts technology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2004. She is a royalties administrator at musicnotes.com in Madison.

The groom, a 1997 graduate of Waukesha West High School, earned a bachelor's in geology and a bachelor's in anthropology from UW-Madison in May 2003. He is currently enrolled in the veterinary technician program at Madison Area Technical College and is a veterinary assistant at All Pets, Madison.

The couple honeymooned in New Mexico and resides in Madison.
