Simmi Fisher and Michael Urbanek, both of Cudahy, are planning a July 11, 2009, wedding at Rosebud Cinema, Wauwatosa.
Parents of the bride-to-be are Jan David and Phyllis Fisher, Pine Island, Minn. Parents of the groom are Greg and Joann Urbanek, Valders, and Brad and Lynn Thiel, Valders.
The bride-to-be earned her bachelor's degree in art and graphic design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is a senior marketing coordinator at Plunkett Raysich Architects, Milwaukee.
The future groom earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He is a logistics coordinator at M.E. Dey & Co., Milwaukee.
The couple became engaged June 21, 2006, when the future groom rented a movie theater to show the bride-to-be a proposal with previews and feature presentation with their friends and families in attendance.
