Gladys J. Moroney
Gladys J. Moroney (nee Messal) died March 27, 2009.
She was born in McAllister and raised in the Bay View area. She graduated from Bay View High School. She worked in the public library system early in her marriage to Jim.
She was an avid reader, crossword puzzle enthusiast and gardener.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jim; children, Barbara (Mark) Unrath and Jim Moroney; grandchildren, Kelly (Kevin) Hanson, Brian and Laura; brothers, Eugene and Elmer Messal; sister-in-law, Dorothy (Ed) Herro; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Funeral service was April 1. Private interment was held.
The family thanks Mother Seraphina, Holy Nativity Convent, Drs. B. Buggy, A. Gupta and A. Choithani and nurses Katrina and Christina and the entire staff at St. Luke's Coronary Intensive Care unit.
Molthen-Bell & Sons Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
