CUDAHY

THEFT

A 17-year-old Cudahy boy was arrested for retail theft after trying to steal a pack of disposable razors from Pick 'n Save, 5851 S. Packard Ave., about 3:30 p.m. April 27.

Two males are suspected of stealing beverages from Speedway Gas Station, 6265 S. Pennsylvania Ave., about 11:30 p.m. April 28.

A CD player was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3100 block of East Adams Avenue about 9:40 a.m. May 8.

A wallet was taken from a locker at the South Shore YMCA, 3244 E. College Ave., about 5:20 p.m. May 9.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 29-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 3600 block of East Layton Avenue about 1:30 a.m. May 4. The man's blood alcohol content was 0.15.

VANDALISM

Threatening words were reported etched into a vehicle in the 3000 block of East Edgerton Avenue about 7:10 a.m. May 4. One of the vehicle's tires was also flattened.

A 16-year-old Cudahy boy was arrested for disorderly conduct after he wrote threatening words in a bathroom at Cudahy High School, 4950 S. Lake Drive, about 10 a.m. May 7. The boy was suspended from school for five days.

Two windows were reported broken on a building of the former Holy Family Church, 3776 E. Hammond Ave., about 9 a.m. May 8.

A vehicle had its windows shot at from a BB gun in the 2600 block of East Edgerton Avenue during the early morning hours of May 8.

Graffiti was reported written on a garage door in the 5900 block of South Crosswinds Drive about 9 p.m. May 8.

OTHER

A 22-year-old Cudahy woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after she confronted a neighbor in the 3900 block of East Squire Avenue about 9:30 p.m. May 4, after she claims a neighbor was talking poorly about her. The woman, who was armed with a can opener, got into a fight, got into a physical fight with another woman, who is nine-months pregnant, during the incident.

ST. FRANCIS

THEFT

A 58-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for retail theft for trying to steal two bags of candy at Pick 'n Save, 4698 S. Whitnall Ave., about 6 p.m. May 5.

A boat, motor and trailer were reported taken from the 4000 block of South Kinnickinnic Avenue about 12:45 p.m. May 6.

A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for retail theft after trying to steal a box of maximum strength climax control male genital desensitizer gel from Pick 'n Save, 4698 S. Whitnall Ave., about 6:35 p.m. May 10. The man, who was shopping with his girlfriend, tried to conceal the theft from her. He also had 0.22 grams of marijuana in his possession, and was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

VANDALISM

A swastika was etched into a slide at Willow Glen Elementary School, 2600 E. Bolivar Ave., sometime between 3:15 p.m. April 27 and 10 a.m. April 30.

Graffiti was reported written on a fence in the 1300 block of East Van Beck Avenue about 1 p.m. May 11.

SOUTH MILWAUKEE

BURGLARY

Jewelry and money were reported missing from a residence in the 500 block of Elm Avenue about 11 a.m. May 6.

THEFT

Personal items were reported taken from a vehicle in the 800 block of Manitowoc Avenue about 3:15 p.m. May 9.

A cellular phone battery was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 1800 block of 10th Avenue about 1:20 p.m. May 10.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A man was arrested for drunken driving near 12th and Milwaukee avenues about 2:20 a.m. May 4.

A 47-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, fifth offense, near the 1000 block of Marion Avenue, about 5:30 p.m. May 4. The man's BAC was 0.32.

A 26-year-old Greenfield man was arrested for drunken driving in the 2900 block of South Chicago Avenue about 4:20 p.m. May 7.

VANDALISM

A fence was reported damaged in the 1400 block of Missouri Avenue about 12:10 a.m. May 6.

A vehicle's window was smashed in the 600 block of Madison Avenue sometime between 11 p.m. May 7 and 5 a.m. May 8.

A vehicle's rear window was shot by a BB gun in the 3000 block of 15th Avenue sometime between 3:30 and 4:20 p.m. May 9.

A vehicle was reported egged in the 500 block of Manistique Avenue about 10 p.m. May 8.

OTHER

Police received several reports about 7:10 p.m. May 9 of a man standing behind a light pole in the 1400 block of Rawson Avenue for about 45 minutes staring at little kids playing in the area, while keeping his hands near his groin area. When he was confronted by the callers, the man became aggressive and tried to fight them. Police checked the man out; he had no prior sexual-related offenses on his record. He was warned to stay away from the area and sent on his way.

A 50-year-old South Milwaukee woman called police about 8:45 a.m. May 9, to report she gave a person she just met keys to her car and $100 in hopes that he would fix it, and now she cannot get in touch with him.
