Vehicles' windows damaged at seven locations

Cudahy - Cudahy Police responded to seven calls of windows damaged on vehicles in the morning hours of Nov. 1. In each instance, a BB gun was believed to have been used to shoot pellets through the windows.

The instances took place in various areas throughout the city, but most were in residential areas near high profile streets.

According to the department, the following damage reports were filed:

5800 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue, between 2 a.m. Oct. 31 and 8:46 a.m. Nov. 1. Two windows shot at with an estimated $200 damage;

2400 block of East Dale Avenue, between 9:45 p.m. Oct. 31 and 8 a.m. Nov. 1. Two windows shot at with an estimated $275 damage;

4600 block of East Hately Avenue, between 10:15 p.m. Oct. 31 and 8:10 a.m. Nov. 1. Two windows shot at with an estimated $200 damage;

3900 block of East Layton Avenue, between 6 p.m. Oct. 31 and 8:46 a.m. Nov. 1. One window shot at with an estimated $200 damage;

3700 block of East Van Norman Avenue, before 4:52 a.m. Nov. 1. Two windows shot at with an estimated $300 damage;

3300 block of East Van Norman Avenue, before 4:49 a.m. Nov. 1. One window shot at with an estimated $300 damage;

and, 4500 block of South Packard Avenue, before 5:09 a.m. Nov. 1. Four windows shot at with an estimated $400 damage.

Investigation into the incidents continues.
