CUDAHY
BURGLARY
More than $650 was stolen from Super Video II, 5049 S. Pennsylvania Ave., about 5 a.m. Dec. 13. Police responded to the business after an alarm had sounded. When they arrived they discovered the front door had been damaged, and cash stolen from a register.
THEFT
A 40-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for retail theft after trying to steal alcohol from CVS Pharmacy, 5740 S. Packard Ave., about 8:30 p.m. Dec. 7.
A 40-year-old Cudahy woman was arrested for retail theft after trying to steal $146 of clothing from Kmart, 6077 S. Packard Ave., about 6:30 p.m. Dec. 10.
A decorative dish containing a crystal ball swan and a string of Mardi Gras beads were reported stolen from the foyer of a residence in the 3300 block of East Ramsey Avenue sometime Dec. 12 and Dec. 14.
DRUG POSSESSION
A 28-yer-old Cudahy man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance after police found 5.6 grams of marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop in the 4900 block of South Nicholson Avenue about 11:45 a.m. Dec. 13.
A 36-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct after he was found passed out in an alley in the 3600 block of East Edgerton Avenue about 1:20 a.m. Dec. 14. The man had 1.0 grams of marijuana and a pipe in his possession.
VANDALISM
A vehicle's rear windshield was smashed in the 4500 block of South Nicholson Avenue sometime between 2:15 and 2:45 p.m. Dec. 9.
ST. FRANCIS
ASSAULT
A 66-year-old St. Francis man was arrested for battery after choking his 53-year-old sister at their home in the 3400 block of East Waterford Avenue on Nov. 30. The assault started over money issues stemming from a Christmas shopping trip earlier in the day.
SOUTH MILWAUKEE
BURGLARY
A shotgun and cigarettes, valued at $202, were reported stolen from an apartment in the 3000 block of Fifth Avenue at 3:51 p.m. Dec. 10. The items were recovered in Grant Park earlier in the day. Damage to the door was $100.
THEFT
A chair was taken from the deck of a home in the 700 block of Columbia Avenue sometime before 9:19 a.m. Dec. 9. The home was also egged.
DRUNKEN DRIVING
A 46-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving, fourth offense, in the 1500 block of Rawson Avenue at 6:44 p.m. Dec. 12.
