Fifty dollars was stolen from a locker at the South Shore YMCA, 3244 E. College Ave., sometime between 8 and 10:15 a.m. Feb. 9.
A 19-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance after police found 0.5 grams of marijuana in a vehicle during a traffic stop in the 5300 block of South Merrill Avenue about midnight Feb. 7.
A 28-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 4800 block of South Packard Avenue about 2 a.m. Feb. 13. The man's blood alcohol content was 0.14.
A vehicle's tire was slashed in the 5500 block of South Buckhorn Avenue sometime between 7:50 p.m. Feb. 11 and 7:35 a.m. Feb. 12.
A 60-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after he became belligerent and threatened to kill a bartender at On the Limiter Tavern, 5152 S. Packard Ave., about 5:30 p.m. Feb. 8.
A 48-year-old Cudahy woman was arrested for retail theft after trying to steal vitamins from Pick 'n Save, 4698 S. Whitnall Ave., about 5:35 p.m. Feb. 12.
A 48-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for battery, disorderly conduct, possession of a controlled substance and retail theft after trying to steal several bottles of alcohol from Pick 'n Save, 4698 S. Whitnall Ave., about 5 p.m. Feb. 14. Store personnel and police determined the man was responsible for at least seven other thefts at the store since Jan. 20.
Several vehicles were reported vandalized near Packard and Lunham avenues during the early morning hours of Feb. 17.
A 36-year-old woman was arrested for battery after getting into an altercation with her husband at their home in the 4500 block of South Vermont Avenue about 8:40 p.m. Feb. 14. The woman came home from work about 8 p.m. and began yelling at his teenage children for not cleaning up the house. The woman then preceded drink one and a half bottles of wine in 40 minutes. She continued to yell at his children, who were directed to hide in their rooms for their safety by their father. The woman then directed her anger at her husband, throwing a clay skeleton bank at his head that she had purchased for him as a Valentine's Day gift. The woman then poured her flavored ice drink she had purchased from a gas station on her way home over the man's head, and then kicked him several times in the groin. The altercation continued as the man then took a vase containing flowers he had purchased for her as a Valentine's Day gift and dumped the flowers and water over her head, saying "happy (expletive) Valentine's Day." The woman then threw the clay bank again at the man's head, this time striking him and smashing the gift; she also resumed kicking the man in the groin, to which he said "stop kicking me in the balls." When police arrived they determined the woman was the instigator and she was arrested; her blood alcohol content was 0.14 percent.
Coins were stolen out of four gaming machines at Snarley's Bar, 1400 Missouri Ave., between 10:30 p.m. Feb. 12 to 6:45 a.m. Feb. 13. It was unknown at the time of the report how much money was taken.
A GPS unit was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 3000 block of Fifth Avenue during the night of Feb. 9.
A vehicle parked in the 3400 block of South Chicago Avenue was stolen around midnight Feb. 11. The vehicle's owner told police that she believes a friend took it without her permission.
A 37-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, in the 1200 block of Rawson Avenue at 8:38 p.m. Feb. 8.
A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 1100 block of Milwaukee Avenue after his vehicle was observed left of the centerline at 1:27 a.m. Feb. 9.
A 19-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 1300 block of Drexel Boulevard after his vehicle was involved in a one-car accident at 3 a.m. Feb. 10. The man was also cited for failing to stop at a stop sign.
Windshield wipers were broken on a vehicle in the 1800 block of 17th Avenue at 9:30 p.m. Feb. 8. The amount of damage is estimated at $200.
A side window on a minivan was smashed out in the 1800 block of Maple Street before 6:42 a.m. Feb. 9. The amount of damage is estimated at $300.
The rear window of a van was shot out as it passed the intersection of Fifth and Milwaukee avenues at 11:14 a.m. Feb. 14. The damage is estimated at $500.
