CUDAHY

THEFT

A 60-year-old woman was arrested after she attempted to steal DVDs from Kmart, 6077 S. Packard Ave., at about 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16. The woman had been caught shoplifting at this store on previous occasions, and employees warned her not to return.

A 38-year-old Milwaukee man and a 25-year-old Oak Creek woman were arrested for stealing five bottles of detergent from CVS Pharmacy, 5740 S. Packard Ave., at about 8 p.m. Feb. 16. The couple was pulled over in St. Francis soon after they left CVS Pharmacy at which point police found the detergent as well as drug paraphernalia. One of the suspects had a warrant for his arrest in Milwaukee County in connection to another retail theft case.

Tools were reported stolen from the trunk of a vehicle on the 3000 block of East Adams Avenue between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Feb 17.

A wallet was reported stolen from a locked locker in the South Shore YMCA, 3244 E. College Ave., between 1:50 and 2:40 p.m. Feb. 19.

A license plate was stolen from a truck at Triumph Transport, 1426 Marquette Ave., about 2 p.m. Feb 19.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for operating a vehicle without a license, bail jumping and possessing synthetic narcotics during a traffic stop in the 3200 block of East Layton Avenue at about 5 p.m. Feb. 20. The man gave up 39 oxycodone pills to police that he had concealed in his rectum.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 23-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving on the 2800 block of East Layton Avenue about 2:15 a.m. Feb. 16. Her blood alcohol content was 0.14.

VANDALISM

About 20 Cudahy residents reported that the windows of their cars had been shot out sometime between the evening of Feb. 16 and the morning of Feb. 17. Reports indicate that many of the windows were damaged by either BB or pellet guns. Additionally, glass panels on Milwaukee County Transit System bus shelters at the corner of Packard and Ramsey avenues and the corner of Kinnickinnic and Van Norman avenues were reported to have been damaged during the same time frame. The cars damaged were in the following: 3700 block of East Pulaski Avenue; 5200 block of South Packard Avenue; 3700 and 3900 blocks of East Somers Avenue; 5100 block of South Swift Avenue; 3600 block of East Whittaker Avenue; 3600 and 3800 blocks of East Martin Avenue; 3600 and 3700 blocks of East Holmes Avenue; 4900 block of South Lake Drive; 3700 block of East Barnard Avenue; 3800 block of East Morris Avenue; and 4700 block of South Kirkwood Avenue.

A window was reported to have been damaged on the building of South Shore Cyclery, 4758 S. Packard Ave., at about 10 a.m. Feb 17.

Graffiti was reported spray-painted on a storage building at Kelly Senior Center, 6100 S. Lake Drive, about noon Feb. 17.

A window was reported broken on the building of Packard Auto, 5780 S. Packard Ave., at about 2:30 p.m. Feb. 17.

A man reported that two tires on his car had been slashed the night before outside of his residence on the 4800 block of South Packard Avenue about 8:30 a.m. Feb. 22. The victim accused his ex-girlfriend of the crime.

OTHER

A 38-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for soliciting a prostitute from his residence on the 3400 block of East Layton Avenue about 12:30 p.m. Feb. 20. Al though the man claimed to have close associations with community law enforcement in the police report, a spokesman from the Cudahy Police Department denied that the man has ever been an employee of the department.

ST. FRANCIS

THEFT

Two juvenile brothers, ages 9 and 14, were taken into custody for after they attempted to steal about $90 in food and beverages from Pick 'n Save, 4698 S. Whitnall Ave., about 1 p.m. Feb. 18.

About $26 of fuel was reported siphoned out of a vehicle outside of Gonnella Bakery, 4630 S. Brush Ave., after noon Feb 18.

VANDALISM

A window of a residence in the 3600 block of South Ellen Street was shot out sometime between 8 p.m. Feb. 15 and 10 a.m. Feb. 16.
