Someone attempted to take two air-conditioning units from a duplex in the 2700 block of East Grange Avenue between May 21 and May 28. Electrical wiring to both units was cut and the Freon lines were crimped, making the units inoperable. Damage is estimated at $1,000.
Scrap steel was reported stolen from a recycling Dumpster in the 5900 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue about 8:40 a.m. May 21.
A smartphone was reported stolen from Blast Fitness, 2525 E. Layton Ave., about 11:30 a.m. May 21.
A wallet and its contents were stolen from an employee of FedEx, 5300 International Drive, between 6:30 and 10:30 p.m. May 23. Loss is estimated at $70.
A 29-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for retail theft after trying to steal a bottle of cologne valued at $25, from Kmart, 6077 S. Packard Ave., about 7 p.m. May 25.
A child's scooter was taken from a porch in the 3700 block of East Squire Avenue between 7 and 7:40 p.m. May 26. Loss is estimated at $20. It was later found near the railroad tracks and returned to the owner.
A radar detector was taken from a locked vehicle in the 3900 block of East Cudahy Avenue the night of May 27. Loss is estimated at $300.
A purse and its contents were stolen from a vehicle at Blast Fitness, 2525 E. Layton Ave., between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. May 28. Loss is estimated at $400. A window was shattered to gain entry. Damage is estimated at $150.
A purse and its contents were stolen from a vehicle parked at Blast Fitness, 2525 E. Layton Ave., between 10 and 11:30 a.m. May 28. Loss is estimated at more than $700. A window was smashed to gain entry. Damage is estimated at $300.
Two 14-year-old boys and students at Cudahy Middle School, 5530 S. Barland Ave., were arrested for possession of a controlled substance after police found 0.4 grams of marijuana in their possession at the school about 12:50 p.m. May 10.
A 17-year-old Cudahy girl was arrested for possession of a controlled substance after police found 0.5 grams of marijuana in her possession at her home in the 3600 block of East Holmes Avenue about 7:50 p.m. May 18.
A 19-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police found 2.4 grams of marijuana and a drug pipe in his vehicle during a traffic stop in the 3600 block of East Martin Avenue about 9:20 p.m. May 19.
A 57-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 5600 block of South Packard Avenue about 4:30 p.m. May 22. He had been pulled over for speeding. His blood alcohol content was 0.15.
A vehicle's mirror was broken in the 5800 block of South Hately Avenue between 3 p.m. April 26 and 8 p.m. April 27. Damage is estimated at $500.
A vehicle's rear window was reported smashed in the 5700 block of South Kirkwood Avenue about 9:15 a.m. May 13.
Eighteen potted plants were damaged at CVS Pharmacy, 5740 S. Packard Ave., the night of May 15. Several smaller potted plants remained intact. Damage is estimated at $200. It was undetermined if the plants were damaged by stormy weather or vandalism.
Two vehicles' windows were smashed in the 2700 block of East Vogel Avenue between 3:30 and 9 a.m. May 28. Damage is estimated at $400.
A 36-year-old Cudahy woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after she continually pounded on a door to a residence in the 3700 block of East Plankinton Avenue about 2:45 a.m. May 20. She told police she lived at the residence, and was locked out but was hoping her roommate would hear her knocks and let her in. The woman was intoxicated and belligerent with police when they arrived following complaints from neighbors.
A 19-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for underage drinking, second offense, and having open intoxicants in a vehicle after a traffic stop in the 4600 block of South Lake Drive about 2 p.m. May 25. She was a passenger in a car clocked going 47 mph in a 25 mph zone. Her BAC was 0.20, and she told officer she had been drinking in the car. Beer cans were found in the car. The driver, a 21-year-old Milwaukee man, was cited with obstructing an officer for providing a false name, having open intoxicants in a car, speeding, driving with a suspended license, driving a vehicle with suspended registration and driving without liability insurance. Another passenger, a 22-year-old Milwaukee man, was cited for obstructing an officer for providing a false name.
Three vehicles had items stolen from a driveway at a residence in the 4400 block of South Iona Avenue about 2:30 a.m. May 23.
A 29-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for retail theft after he tried to steal several bags of shrimp from Pick 'n Save, 4698 S. Whitnall Ave., about 3 p.m. May 24.
A 51-year-old St. Francis man was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after he got into a shouting match with police and his wife as she was trying to retrieve items from their residence in the 4200 block of South Packard Avenue about 11:45 a.m. May 23.
A GPS unit was taken from a vehicle in the 700 block of Sylvester Drive before 8:40 a.m. June 1.
A 27-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, fifth offense, at Nicholson and College avenues about 4:40 p.m. May 25.
A resident of the 1200 block of Manistique Avenue reported that someone had defecated on a rock in her front yard May 26. A week earlier, a vehicle at the residence had been egged.
A vehicle was egged in the 1400 block of Blake Avenue before 8:30 a.m. May 27. Damage is estimated at $500.
A vehicle was egged in the 3400 block of Blakewood Avenue before 9 a.m. May 27.
Purple and red paint was sprayed on a minivan in the 400 block of Bay Heights Road before 9:20 a.m. May 29. Damage is estimated at $1,000.
Oil was poured on a vehicle in the 800 block of Manitoba Avenue before 3:30 p.m. May 29. Damage is estimated at $200.
A 34-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct for striking another person with a ladder ball (two golf balls connected by a rope) in the 1300 block of Marquette Avenue at 5:12 p.m. May 27. The two had been playing ladder ball, and the man became upset that his opponent kept yelling "miss" each time he threw the ball. He is accused of striking his opponent in the left hip, the face and forehead.
