A 42-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for attempting to steal a portable DVD player, cologne and other items from Kmart, 6077 South Packard Ave., around 4 p.m. March 3. The man attempted to remove security tags from the items in the store bathroom before leaving with them.
A backpack containing a text book and an external hard drive was stolen from a locked car at Bally Total Fitness, 2525 East Layton Ave., sometime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. March 6. The stolen items and the broken driver's side window were valued at $375.
A 20-year-old Cudahy woman and a 20-year-old Milwaukee man were arrested for possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia when they were pulled over during a traffic stop around 8:30 p.m. March 4. Police intended to pull over a car with an unlawfully loud muffler, but officers mistakenly pulled over this car in the 3800 block of Kinnickinnic Avenue and found the marijuana. The female driver was also cited for not having proof of car insurance and driving with suspended license plates due to unpaid parking tickets, and the man was cited for not wearing a seat belt.
A 29-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 5600 block of South Lake Drive at about 8 p.m. March 3. The man was pulled over for speeding and subsequently registered a 0.179 blood alcohol content.
A 34-year-old St. Francis man was arrested for drunken driving when police found his car stuck in a snow bank in the parking lot of Kelly Senior Center, 6100 S. Lake Drive, just before midnight March 9. The man told police that he became stuck in the snow bank after he attempted "off-roading." His BAC was 0.22.
A 17-year-old student of Cudahy High School, 4950 S. Lake Drive, was arrested for disorderly conduct after he claimed that he had a bomb in his locker around 8 a.m. Feb. 27. The student did not have a bomb in his locker, and he told police that he said it jokingly as a method that might cancel classes for the day since snow had forced many other schools to close.
A 57-year-old Lake Geneva man was arrested for disorderly conduct in an apartment building in the 5700 block of South Packard Avenue around 8:30 p.m. March 2. The man was in a woman's residence and he would not leave after she had asked him to. The woman asked a neighbor to call the police, whom the arrested man subsequently attacked.
A 51-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct at his residence in the 3500 block of East Plankinton Avenue around 10:30 p.m. March 3. Neighbors reported that the man was yelling and banging on the walls in hallway of their apartment building. Police cited the same man twice last month for similar behavior.
A 42-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct at the residence where his children live around 4 a.m. March 7. The man entered the home through a bedroom window without the mother's consent, an act which is also considered domestic violence.
A 29-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct at Speedway, 6265 S. Pennsylvania Ave., around 3 a.m. March 7, after he and his wife were heard yelling at one another at her residence in the 2500 block of East College Avenue. He was also arrested for violating a court order forbidding him from contacting his wife.
A 31-year-old Cudahy woman was issued a citation for disorderly conduct after she threatened a delivery driver who had run a stop sign and nearly hit her in the 3400 block of East Bottsford Avenue, around 6:30 p.m. March 8. The woman threateningly yelled at the delivery driver that she had a .38-caliber pistol and called her husband to bring an AR-15 rifle. The woman did not actually have a gun with her.
A 37-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct, trespassing and possession of marijuana, March 9, as he was drunkenly attempting to break into an apartment building he had recently been evicted from in the 5100 block of South Packard Avenue. Responding officers originally planned to drive the man out of Cudahy until they found marijuana in his pocket.
Nine cases of energy drinks valued at $159 were stolen from Pick 'n Save, 4698 South Whitnall Ave., around 1:30 p.m. March 6. Security video showed a man escaping with some of the items into a waiting car before store employees could confront him.
A 45-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct at her residence in the 2000 block of East Leroy Avenue at about 1 a.m. Feb. 27. Police made two stops at the residence after they received multiple complaints that she was harassing her boyfriend and disturbing her children. A breath test showed that her BAC was 0.32.
