CUDAHY

THEFT

A gray 2013 Dodge Charger was reported stolen by an employee of Mayfair Rent-A-Car, 2727 East Layton Ave., after the car had been kept two days past its return date on Feb. 22 and charges to the credit card used to rent the car were declined.

A 45-year-old Milwaukee woman attempted to steal about $46 of alcohol from Pick 'n Save, 5851 South Packard Ave., around 1:30 p.m. Feb. 22. The woman was arrested at the scene.

A purse with contents inside valued at approximately $380 was reported stolen about 10 a.m. Feb. 23. The purse went missing as the 90-year-old victim left her home on the 3600 block of East Ramsey Avenue.

A wallet with contents valued at $240 was reported stolen at about 3:30 p.m. Feb. 23 from an employee of McDonald's, 6163 South Packard Ave., from her locker while she worked.

A 19-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man, both from St. Francis, were arrested at Kmart, 6077 South Packard Ave., around 7 p.m. Feb. 23, after they attempted to steal facial cleanser product valued at $13.

A car window was broken and $500 of stereo equipment was stolen from a parked vehicle on the 3900 block of East Holmes Avenue, sometime between 9:30 p.m. Feb. 26 and 6 a.m. Feb. 27.

A 17-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested at Kmart, 6077 South Packard Ave., at about 4:30 p.m. Feb. 28, after she attempted to steal an eyeliner pencil valued at $3. Police also found an opened package of cigarettes on her.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 41-year-old Shorewood man was arrested for drunken driving after being pulled over in the 2900 block of East Layton Avenue for not having his vehicle's headlights on, at around 11 p.m. Feb. 23. His blood alcohol content was 0.139.

A 25-year-old Greendale man was arrested by St. Francis police for drunken driving around 2 a.m. Feb. 24, after being pulled over in the 3600 block of East College Avenue for failing to stop at a flashing red light. His BAC at 0.15.

A 38-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for drunken driving after being pulled over for no taillights in the 3600 block of East Squire Avenue at about 1:30 a.m. March 2. His BAC was 0.23.

VANDALISM

Two windows were damaged at Kittleson Dentists, 3527 East Squire Ave., with a BB gun between 11 a.m. Feb. 21 and 8 a.m. Feb. 22. Damage is estimated at $2,000.

OTHER

A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he screamed outside of a residence in the 3600 block of East Layton Avenue at about 9:15 p.m. Feb. 22. The man was also hospitalized for drunkenness.

A 41-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct around 10:30 p.m. Feb. 23 at his residence in the 4500 block of East Packard Avenue, after he disobeyed police orders to stay in his apartment and spit on his neighbor in front of police investigating a noise complaint.

A 28-year-old Cudahy woman was arrested for disorderly conduct at about 6 a.m. Feb. 24 at her mother's residence in the 3500 block of East Layton Avenue after the woman brandished a meat cleaver at a man invited there by her mother and ordered the man to leave.

A 30-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for damaging his girlfriend's property in two separate incidents I the 2700 block of East Adams Court at around 11 a.m. Feb. 25. The victim reported that the man drove her car into a curb Feb. 23 and poured bleach on her furniture on Feb. 25, both causing about $1,250 of damage.

A 47-year-old Cudahy woman was arrested for disorderly conduct outside of the bar Construction Site, 3778 East Pulaski Ave., at about 2 a.m. March 3. She was arrested after she was loudly uncooperative with police who were investigating a disturbance that occurred between her and her boyfriend at the bar.

Police responded to one domestic violence incident.

ST. FRANCIS

THEFT

Two 12-volt batteries valued at $200 were reported stolen and the metal cage in which they were kept damaged in a truck outside of Starfire Inc., 3550 South Iowa Ave. The theft took place sometime between 5 p.m. Feb. 18 and 5 p.m. Feb. 22.

SOUTH MILWAUKEE

BURGLARY

Several video games systems were stolen from an apartment in the 1300 block of Michigan Avenue about 1 p.m. Feb. 19.

Several guns, movies and a video game system were reported stolen from a locked apartment in the 3000 block of Fifth Avenue around 11 p.m. Feb. 25.

The tavern Jack's of All Trade, 2616 Fifth Ave., was broken into and change stolen from the cash register and two large arcade games in the early morning hours of Feb. 26.

THEFT

A manager at BP gas station, 2318 10th Ave., reported that an employee has stolen numerous items from the store around 11:30 a.m. Feb. 16.

A front license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 500 block of 11th Avenue around 10:15 a.m. Feb. 17.

Prescription medicine was stolen from a car parked in the 1300 block of Minnesota Avenue just after midnight Feb. 18. The man reported that nothing else was stolen from his car.

A license plate was reported stolen from a parked car on the 1400 block of Milwaukee Avenue about 1 p.m. Feb. 18.

A car was broken into and items stolen from the car in the 500 block of Southtowne Drive sometime between 10:30 p.m. Feb. 25 and 6 a.m. Feb. 26. The damage to the car and items stolen was $700.

A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1400 block of Missouri Avenue around 9 p.m. Feb. 26.

Medication was stolen from a man's residence in the 900 block of Minnesota Avenue in the early morning hours of Feb. 27, reportedly by a guest he had there. The 33-year-old victim was subsequently arrested for a warrant issued by the South Milwaukee Police Department.

A man attacked another man and attempted to steal his wallet on the 900 block of Madison Avenue around 2:15 a.m. March 1.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving at the corner of Milwaukee and Fifth avenues around 2 a.m. Feb 17.

A 28-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested drunken driving at his residence on the 1300 block of Williams Avenue at around 3:15 a.m. Feb. 28. Police came to warn him for causing a loud commotion in Griddler's Café, 211 North Chicago Ave., and urinating on the sidewalk outside earlier. The man returned home in his car while police were looking for him there. He refused to take a breath test.

A 45-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving at the corner of Rawson and 16th avenues around 1:15 a.m. March 1. The woman's vehicle was reported to have been stopped in the middle of a nearby roadway with its occupants outside yelling. Her BAC was 0.11.

VANDALISM

Two washers and dryers were tampered with, which allowed the machines to work without inserting coins at Coin Appliance, 2005 10th Ave., between Jan. 29 and Feb. 21.

A vehicle's window was broken in the 1300 block of Milwaukee Avenue at about 5 a.m. Feb. 17. The owner of the vehicle said that nothing was missing.

A business owner at 1234 Milwaukee Ave. reported that the windows of an adjacent building had been shot out by what looked like a BB gun around 2 p.m. Feb. 17.

A car window was reportedly shot out while the victim was inside AMF South Park Lanes bowling alley, 305 North Chicago Ave., at around 1 a.m. Feb. 23. The damage to the window is reportedly $350.

A vehicle's window was reported shot out while it was parked in a lot in the 400 block of Southtowne Drive around 1:30 p.m. Feb. 23.

A residence in 800 block of North Chicago Avenue was pelted with raw eggs in the early morning hours of Feb. 24.

OTHER

Pharmacists at Walgreens, 2985 S. Chicago Ave., reported that a man forged a drug prescription and was able to purchase medicinal drugs with it around 7 p.m. Feb. 15.

A 19-year-old Muskego woman and a 19-year-old Wind Lake woman were arrested for being at a drinking party at an apartment in the 2000 block of 10th Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Feb. 15.

A South Milwaukee man reported that his insurance information had been used to illegally buy prescription medicines at around 2:30 p.m. Feb. 17.

Three South Milwaukee residents reported that they had received fraudulent calls from scammers who claimed to be law enforcement officers from various countries, during the evening hours of Feb. 21. One victim wired $1,400 through Western Union to Mexico City under the impression it would free her grandson from prison. Another victim wired $850 to a caller from Peru to get her grandchild out of jail. The third victim was told she had to pay $100 to take care of a warrant for her arrest, but she did not pay.

A man was arrested at his residence in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue after he and his girlfriend were seen from the street arguing and dueling with swords in their living room at around 1:30 a.m. Feb. 24. The man was taken into custody because he was the first to arm himself and because he had his sword unsheathed while his girlfriend kept her sword in its scabbard.

A 54-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for being at his mother-in-law's residence in the 2400 block of Harrison Place around 8 p.m. Feb. 25, while a restraining order forbade him from contacting his wife.

A 49-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested for resisting officers as they tried to break up a fight between her and her neighbors in the 3700 block of South Chicago Avenue around 10 p.m. Feb. 25.

Police responded to three domestic violence related calls.
