A lawn mower, videogame system and video games were taken from a garage in the 3800 block of East Barnard Avenue in late April. Loss is estimated at $500.
A resident of the 3700 block of East Plankinton Avenue reported that two people attempted to sell her a subscription to a magazine, allegedly as part of a school fundraiser, about 12:52 p.m. April 28. After giving them $55, she changed her mind and asked for the money back. They ran off with it.
Two wallets were stolen from employees of Kreier's Hair Quarters, 3524 E. Layton Ave., May 1. About 1 p.m., a woman came into the salon asking to wait there for her ride although she wasn't a customer. Her description matches that given by a Milwaukee salon that experienced a similar theft.
A DVD player, DVDs and a DVD case were taken from a vehicle in the 3400 block of East Armour Avenue about 4:39 a.m. May 6. Loss is estimated at $400.
A 37-year-old South Milwaukee man and a 26-year-old South Milwaukee man were cited for retail theft at Dunham's Sports, 5656 S. Packard Ave., about 8 p.m. May 11. The two were with a man the store employees suspected of attempting to steal shoes. Officers found no evidence of such a theft, but did find the two in possession of metal cigarette holders stolen from nearby Smokin Deals Tobacco.
A catalytic converter was taken from a vehicle in the 4500 block of South Lake Drive between 1 p.m. May 12 and 7:30 p.m. May 13. Loss is estimated at $80.
A wallet containing $100 and other personal items was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 3700 block of East Munkwitz Avenue between 6:15 p.m. May 15 and 8 p.m. May 16.
A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 3200 block of East Layton Avenue about 3:30 a.m. May 6. His blood alcohol content was 0.19. Officers found a bag with trace amounts of cocaine in it. Due to the small amount he was cited for paraphernalia possession rather than drug possession.
A 23-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving in the 3900 block of East Edgerton Avenue about 2:38 a.m. May 12. His BAC was 0.16.
A 42-year-old Cudahy woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 4300 block of South Kinnickinnic Avenue at 11:24 p.m. May 12. Blood was drawn to determine her BAC.
A 27-year-old Racine woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 4900 block of South Lake Drive at 1:46 a.m. May 13. Her BAC was 0.20.
A vehicle in a garage in the 3600 block of East Armour Avenue was kicked hard enough to leave a dent between 11:30 p.m. April 29 and 1:15 p.m. April 30. Damage is estimated at $300.
A vehicle window was shot with a pellet and broken in the 3300 block of East Grange Avenue the night of May 12. Damage is estimated at $250.
A pellet or BB was used to break a window on a home in the 6000 block of South Packard Avenue between 4 p.m. May 14 and 12:30 p.m. May 16. Damage is estimated at $70.
A 29-year-old Cudahy man was cited for disorderly conduct in the 5500 block of South Nicholson Avenue about 10:30 p.m. May 6. Police were called when he began yelling and acting strangely after becoming intoxicated. When officers arrived he yelled at them and butted his head into a closet door, yelling, "Take me to jail."
Cudahy police responded to one incident of domestic violence.
A 31-year-old Milwaukee woman was cited with retail theft for attempting to take about $26 worth of merchandise from Pick 'n Save, 4698 S. Whitnall Ave., about 3 p.m. May 4.
A catalytic converter was taken from a car in the 4500 block of South Whitnall Avenue between 10:45 p.m. May 14 and 1:45 p.m. May 15.
A 66-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for lewd and lascivious conduct at Arylyn's KK Koin Laundromat, 3809 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., about noon May 4. A female patron reported that the man had been watching her and making remarks about her looks that she found upsetting. When officers arrived they found the man was wearing only a mid-thigh length winter coat and shoes - no pants or underwear. Further, they found that he has been arrested 17 times, and has had numerous arrests for lewd behavior and exposing himself since 2000, and he was wanted in Milwaukee on suspicion of three incidents of exposing himself to a child.
A leather jacket, trolling motor and an MP3 player were taken from a storage shed in the 1100 block of Montana Avenue between 10 p.m. May 15 and 8:15 a.m. May 16. Loss is estimated at $300.
A resident of the 2600 block of Fifth Avenue came home about 11:15 p.m. May 15 and witnessed a person run out of his yard. He believed the person was trying to break in through a window when he pulled up in his car.
A bicycle was taken from a yard in the 1200 block of Minnesota Avenue before 3:40 p.m. May 12. Loss is estimated at $50.
A bicycle was taken from a yard in the 1000 block of 15th Avenue before 9:15 p.m. May 16. Loss is estimated at $150.
CDs were taken from a vehicle in the 1400 block of Sherman Avenue the night of May 16. No loss estimate was available.
A 49-year-old Racine woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 3600 block of South Chicago Avenue about 2:27 a.m. May 12. Her BAC was 0.16.
A 35-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, in the 1600 block of Rawson Avenue about 3:10 a.m. May 13. Blood was drawn to determine her BAC.
A 49-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving at 15th and Missouri avenues at 2:56 a.m. May 16.
Three of a car's tires were slashed and the driver side was scratched in the 1800 block of Forest Hill Avenue before 4:30 p.m. May 11.
A vehicle was egged in the 1200 block of Marion Avenue before 9:30 p.m. May 11.
A 41-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs in the 1800 block of Milwaukee Avenue about 2:50 a.m. May 15.
