Schroeder South YMCA Swimmers Make A Big Splash In The Pool

Schroeder South swimmers recently competed in the SSTY Finalist Meet held in Brown Deer, WI from Dec. 7 - 9, 2012.

A dozen teams participated in the invitational, and the athletes came from as far as Eau Claire, WI and Lake County, IL.

First time swimmers who had fun and swam fast were Jacob Davey, Layton Carls, Nolan Farah, Simone Pointer Mace, Jacob Galonski, Teagan Wake, and Isabel Bastardo. More experienced swimmers who competed include Ana Ohly, Annabelle Marek, Evie Skibicki, and David Jensen.

Schroeder South swimmers are now looking forward to the Holiday Relays which will be held during a special practice on Wed.evening, Dec. 19, 2012 at Greendale High School Pool.

The next competition the swimmers are training for is the Oddball Challenge Meet scheduled for Jan. 12 - 13, 2013.
