Bay View R.E.A.D.Y. Teens Sponsor Teen Blood Drive

The Bay View R.E.A.D.Y. teens (Responding to Emergencies And Disasters with Youth) are calling to action all community teens 16 yrs. and older and their families to help us, help save lives! YOU can help do something really special this summer by giving the gift of life saving blood. One pint of your blood will help a minimum of 3 people! Blood helps babies, accident victims, cancer patients and others many of whom at any time could be a parent, friend, or grandparent you know and love. Come with a best friend, sibling, parent or on your own to help those in the community who need this lifesaving gift.

This event will be held at Bay View Community Center, 1320 E. Oklahoma Avenue, Milwaukee on Thursday, July 16, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:45 pm.

R.E.A.D.Y. has teamed up with the American Red Cross who partners with the Van’s Warped Tour “Music Saves Lives” program to provide high school and college-aged donors with the opportunity to connect to music and entertainment while saving lives.

All presenting donors at our Music Saves Lives blood drive this summer will receive a FREE VIP Access pass (an upgrade to your purchased ticket) to exclusive behind-the-scenes action when the Van’s Warped Tour rolls into Milwaukee on July 30!

All eligible donors must make an appointment with the Bay View Community Center by July 14. On the day of the Blood Drive, all presenting donors must provide Photo I.D. To schedule your appointment, contact the Center for available time slots at (414) 482-1000 or email Kimberly at kschubring@bayviewcenter.org for more information.
