3 Milwaukee Fitness Boot Camps Team Up for Halloween Charity Event for AHA

Oct. 6, 2009

Oct 01, 2009 – Milwaukee-based Get Sexy Boot Camps is gearing up for their third annual Halloween Charity Bootcamp. This year they will be teaming up with two other local fit camps to make the event even bigger and better: Fat Blasting Boot Camp in New Berlin and Rock’N Body Boot Camp in Sussex. Campers don Halloween costumes while performing pumpkin exercises. The event is open to the general public and costs $20 per attendee with all of the proceeds going to the local American Heart Association.

This event creates an environment unlike any other fitness program in the Milwaukee area. “Working out on a consistent basis is not easy,” says Naomi Nazario, Co-Owner Get Sexy Boot Camps. “We created this event to bring out the kid in all of our campers.” To create a fun and playful atmosphere for the participants, the workout is set to custom Halloween interval training music soundtracks powered by WorkoutMuse.com. Music is an integral part of Get Sexy Boot Camps because all workouts are performed while listening to soundtracks that provide fat-melting interval training instructions and countdowns that tell campers exactly what to do. This allows the instructor to focus on coaching proper form and technique rather than looking at the clock.

The workout will end with an after party at Suite Night Club while people are still wearing their costumes. Each of the three boot camp owners will be holding a raffle featuring some fitness prizes for all club goers.

Jim and Erin Naatz, Co-Owners of Rock’N Body Boot Camps, are a husband and wife fitness duo that has quickly built a following in the Sussex area. Erin Naatz stated: “I decided to just quit my regular old day job and start up a fitness boot camp with my husband to help people realize their physical dreams. Now we’re doing what we love and our campers couldn’t be more excited about working out with Pumpkins for the first time!”

Jeremy Belter, Owner of Fat Blasting Boot Camp, is well known for putting on regular charity boot camp events for the people of New Berlin. Belter said “I love to give back to my community. More importantly, I love to use fitness as the vehicle to do so. This will be a special event that all attendance will not soon forget. Plus, getting all of our campers together in one room with costumes and pumpkins will surely be a hoot!”

When asked if there were conflicting interests about working with other Milwaukee boot camp businesses, BJ Gaddour, Co-Owner of Get Sexy Boot Camps, responded: “Jim, Erin, and Jeremy are good friends of mine and we’re all in this together to help as many people as possible. We offer camps in non-competitive areas and our goal was to raise lots of money for the American Heart Association. Teaming up gave us the best chance to do so!”

The Halloween Boot Camp Workout will be held on Friday, October 23rd at 7:30 pm at The Hide House in Bay View. The registration deadline is Friday, October 16th. Attendees will start heading over to the after party at Suite Night Club immediately following the workout.
