* overhaul bearings
* change the tires
* wheel truing and more.
The class uses the “Park Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair” as an included supplementary text. Students will grasp mechanical concepts and learn how to use bike specific tools.
The following Sat/Sun clinics run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day:
January Saturday 16 and Sunday 17, 2010
February Saturday 6 and Sunday 7, 2010
February Saturday 27 and Sunday 28, 2010
March Saturday 20 and Sunday 21, 2010
Space is limited and class schedules are subject to change based on the number of student sign-ups.
The 2-day clinic is $125 and includes the Park BBB1 Repair Book. South Shore Cyclery will provide all the necessary tools and supplies. These clinics are taught by trained professional bicycle mechanics.
