Angela Ahcin of Oak Creek to Compete at Miss Wisconsin

Miss St. Francis 2010, ANGELA AHCIN, will be leaving on Sunday, June 13, 2010 to participate in the Miss Wisconsin Pageant in Oshkosh! You are invited to attend her official “Send Off” on Sunday, June 13, 2010 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. It will be held at the St. Francis Community Center, 3476 E. Howard Avenue. Join us in wishing ANGELA the Best of Luck at State and get a peek at her competition wardrobe!

 

Events Open to the Public at the Miss Wisconsin Pageant include:

Wednesday, June 16 - Miss Wisconsin Outstanding Teen Pageant & Princess Program (Tickets $15 available at the door @ Alberta Kimball Civic Auditorium).

Thursday, June 17 - Preliminary show –7:30 PM - ANGELA competes in Talent and Evening Gown;

Friday, June 18 - Preliminary show –7:30 PM -ANGELA competes in Swimsuit and On-Stage Question.

Saturday, June 19 - Final show – 7:30 PM. All contestants will appear during the show, with only the Top 11 and the final Top 5 re-competing for the title and the opportunity to represent Wisconsin at the Miss America Pageant. (ON ABC TV IN January 2011!) (see the Internet Vote information below)

 

ANGELA will also participate in her Interview Competition on Wednesday, June 16 as well as dinners, luncheons, a blood drive, and hours of rehearsals throughout the week!

 

Ticket prices are $15.00 for each preliminary night, $40.00 for Saturday night and $5.00 for the Reception following the Saturday night show to be held at the City Center. Pageant is held at the Alberta Kimball Civic Auditorium on the corner of Taft and Eagle Street in Oshkosh.

 

It's time to VOTE! Yes, this year YOU can be the sixth judge! The contestant who receives the most Internet votes by 10 PM EST Friday, June 18, 2010, will become a “Top 11” finalist during the LIVE web cast of the 2010 Miss Wisconsin Scholarship Program beginning at 7:30 PM Saturday, June 19. The Internet vote will NOT impact the judges’ scoring. The judges and audience will NOT know who received the highest number of votes until the competition is finished.

 

A new “People’s Choice” scholarship will be awarded to the contestant receiving the most Internet votes near the end of the web cast, after judges have finished scoring all areas of competition.

 

NOTE: If the highest vote receiver is already a finalist due to her preliminary competition scores by the judges, the contestant receiving the second-highest number of votes will become the 11th finalist, and so forth.). This voting process is being conducted by a secure, off-site server. Your credit card will be charged $0.99 for each vote you purchase.
