Summer Soulstice Celebrates 10 Years with 10 Bands on June 19, 2010

The wait is almost over! The 10th annual Summer Soulstice Music Festival is just a few short days away. In celebration of a decade of music and sun the East Side Assocication rounded up 10 great bands, including headliners Sponge and The .357 String Band plus 8 not to miss local acts, and booked a full lineup of family friendly activities- all for free!

 

The festival kicks off at noon an afternoon of high-energy family friendly activities including the Rage in the Cage Dodge Ball Tournament, a Rock Climbing Wall, Children's Activities at the East Library, Qdoba's Burrito Eating Contest and special performances from Divsion BMX stunt team.

 

Two youth bands from the North Shore will bands will also be featured at this year's event. Making their second Soulstice appearance is 2nd Thought, taking the East Stage at 1pm. Whitefish Bay's HuManatee will appear at 2pm on the Murray Ave. stage.
