World Music Festival at Humboldt Park

Sept. 15, 2010

Milwaukee’s Free 2010 Global Union World Music Festival will unite music and cultures in a diverse setting that celebrates music from around the world.

 

Global Union takes place on September 25-26, from noon to 5pm in Bay View’s beautiful Humboldt Park, 3000 S. Howell Avenue. Each day will feature three eclectic live musical performances from around the world. Artists from Mexico, France, China, India and Ethiopia will participate.

 

Performances Saturday, Sept. 25

1:00pm…….Mahala Rai Banda……..gypsy brass

2:30pm…….Joan Soriano…………….El Duque de la Bachata

4:00pm…….Debo Band………………Ethiopian jam band funk

 

Performances Sunday, Sept. 26

1:00pm……Delhi 2 Dublin……………Bhangra meets celtic

2:30pm……Mekit Hadero……………East African

4:00pm……La Excelencia…………...Salsa
